First polish and reblueing job

I I started with the rock island officers model and wanted to take the roll marks from the factory off then decided to give it a two tone look from there I now tried my hand and bluing the slide back smooth. Let me know what you guys think and any pointers of fixes you guys see even new ideas are greatly appreciated

What did you use to polish it good sir? I have the same model and wanting to do the same.

It was all done by hand with wet/dry sand paper and a block. I believe I started with 400 and then pending on finish or how glossy you can go up from there
