Extra Spring
I recently installed a DPMS lower parts kit in my AR-15 and had one extra spring. Where does it go? I installed one just like it in the trigger group.

Is that the spring that goes in disconnector/hammer area?

I thought so but I put one in there that was green. It is the disconnector spring. This looks similar.

Extra one maybe? I had one left over. It went boom the right way.

I'm hoping that's the case. The hammer locks back. Trigger won't pull on safe. Don't know where it could belong. Only area for spring that size would be trigger group.

May be extra. I wouldn't worry to much. If SAFTEY checks pass like your saying. Mine had extra. It didn't blow up an everything works properly.
