You can't work on a project and post at the same time.

I had a death in the family and the services took me out of town for a couple days. Im back now. Couple that with some serious health issies with my bride and lots of doctoring and you will understand my absence.

Im in the process of purchasing about 40 rust inhibitors (already have half of them delivered to my secret undisclosed location) and am working on a corrosion inhibiting evaluation, water displacement evaluation, compatibility evaluation and working on the stand to hold the metal samples for the evaluation and cruising the web for additional products to buy so this evaluation is comprehensive.

I did however start and finish an interesting DIY project over the weekend that you can view.

You're doing quite enough. Don't you worry about us. Take care of yourself and your family first and foremost.

I'm sorry about the personal issues you've been having. Good luck with everything.

My wife has had a series of surgeries in the last year and a half (6 surgeries in all) and she is perhaps facing another. 4 of those were knee replacements on the same knee and then some hip work was done. She has arthrofibrosis and her better knee is now a candidate for surgery but the docs don’t want to cut into her knowing that her joint will be attacked by the arthrofibrosis and likely put her in a wheelchair. We have a few more appointments this week with a couple docs to plot out a strategy. She is facing losing her job since she can no longer stand or walk and is in constant pain. She is proud and does not want to face going on disability and she is in a dark place.

DIY, good luck to you. I'm sure you will be able to find some good to come out of this bad situation.

Keep your head up, and remember you've got a whole site of a support network here if you need any of us.

DYI_dude - seriously I am kidding, you take care of business and if there is anything any of us can do, I hope you reach out.
