Good idea. If you streamline the process, set a process to mass produce it, you just might have a home business on your hands. With the price of a mosin, lots of people might be interested in being able to do that.

I would take the red dot off, and put a higher magnification scout scope on it. Also, will the m4 stock hold up to the recoil?

Thanks for the suggestion, but no shopping trips are in my immediate future. I am well fixed for modern and historical firearms and I understand the value of both. I am sure that there is some 16 year old Ninja wannabe, walking through your local mall, that would love to own a tacticool Mosin-Nagant.
