i worked for jennings for more than 10 years, they are zink die-cast. quality can B quite low. 'quantity v\s quality'
ive witnessed several test guns shoot into the 10s of thousands of rounds. the early J22s can b real good guns.
jennings pre bryco.

killerkilgore1990 watch for a crack under the front site on that mod59. The slide tended to split bout 5/8'' from the muzzle.

Kind of funny I have a new model JA-22 that I have put over 10,000 rounds through it. I would bet my life on it. The gun in the photo looks like it has been through a house fire. Even the best guns are not reliable after being in a fire. Even if the barrel blew up it didn't do all that damage. I have to raise the bull manure flag on that one.

Did you all hear about when I tied water moccasins together to get through the swamp?

jennings is made of the exact same material as hi point. its the design thats faulty. the sheet metal saftey and the slide release. thats the main problem with them exploding. i own one they are not all bad if you can modify them to work. yes they are cheap but do you hear of hi points exploding in regular use? no. i get so offended when people come and bash guns. Saturday night or not. they can be made to work with basic knowledge of the design. i got mine to work just fine. and either im okay or i cannot count... my count is ten

its still a gun. i tell this to everyone who bashes my bryco jennings nine... would you like to be shot with it and tell me how crappy it is after? it is cheap and unreliable yes. with mods and elbow grease its semi decent. will go boom every time.

I've shot round for round with my wife and her LCP with mine. Hers has jammed and ftf more than once and my BJ was flawless. Hers has been cleaned every time she shoots it. Mine has never been disassembled.
