If you're talking from sctatch, unless you're a gunsmith I wouldn't even touch it, its just bad juju. If you use parts from other guns, ok, so long as you have a set plan and you know what you're doing. Just make sure its legal too. Id hate to hear someone had to get arrested by the BATFags because he was messin around trying to do something way over his head.

Never Forget.

But yes if your smart enough to make it fire, but not smart enough to make it safe, then it becomes an extremely dangerous undertaking. ( those people don't live very long)

Didn't Ronnie Barrett first build his .50 out of mobile home parts?

He hired a machinist to mill out the parts from solid metal.

Go build a 9mm semiauto carbine.

But before you do that, you can stop by the intro section and let us know a bit about yourself.

Please note- it is ILLEGAL in the US to build your own full auto firearm unless licensed as a machinegun mfgr.

Having said that, over 4,000,000 versions of the "plumber's nightmare" were built and used. That is the STEN sub machine gun. Ever see one? The magazine was the most complicated bit. Cost of production during WW 2 was $8.
