This one I built from extra parts laying around the shop.
It is called a guild rod build from the rod going through the center of the gas system. Yes that means it is gas operated.
It shoots the 7.62x39 round, barrel length is 3 3/4" including chamber, it weights a little over 4# empty, it will take from a 5rd mag to a 75rd drum mag.

It is accurate out to about 20yds, but the muzzle flash will knock them down even farther. It is a lot of fun to shoot and gets a lot of attention at the range.

Cool gun, I like the AMD muzzle break, what the heck is sticking down off the front trinion? Here is a Romanian G I built, all I need to do is parkerize it, but it shoots great.

The thing sticking down off the front trunnion is just a plate to cover up the opening in the front of the receiver. It also acts as a sling point, but I found this single point sling that works better.

Ooh by the way that is a nice looking Romy G, are you going to park it your self or have it done?
I have tried a home brew parkerize that didn't turn out real well, I do mostly cold blue on my builds and have done some bake on spray paint coatings.

I'm actually building a parts kit for another member in the Russian 7.62 by 25 cartridge. If you want we can start talking about making you one as well, within the bounds of the law. I need to talk to an ATF agent, but I think I can make you every part except the reciever, and I can make that 80% done. But no promises untill I confirm all that with the ATF. Send me a PM
