Which is why I stated (more than once in this thread) that I wont be using acid and insted will be using Sodium Bisulfate (for swimming pools to bring down the PH. People actually swim in the stuff) Sometimes I do wonder if people actually read what others post.

DIY guy. I read your posts. I understand what you are doing and asking.

I am in full support of your activity. (Educating yourself and Preparing for Possible Anodizing).

It is true, that some do not read, some do not approve, some spend too much time in a vat.

I am a universal Fix-It DIY'er as well. I was told on my Home Inspection forum, that I should not buy a Thermal Imager, but instead, hire a professional.

Life is short, exciting and dangerous. It best to live it to the fullest, for there may be no tomorrow. The lord determines our time and place.

Any updates? I am looking into this, I have two Single Six aluminum grip frames that I would like to turn black again, also I am considering some pink parts for my daughter's 10-22
