And wanted to add that some one messaged me about some lowers that had the fire control pocket milled out and no company sells them any more! The only ones I can find is the ones that needed that FC milled out. That sucks, but I should of bought a few of them a year and a half ago when I came across them. Just wanted to put that out before I lead any one else astray.

I went searching for the ones with the fc milled out. No luck. No big deal though. Just got to fi re up the haas.

Yeah I agree. Don't let that keep you from trying it. The only reason I have access to any sort of cnc is because that's how I make my living and the shop owner is cool. Believe me if I wasn't a machinist that's exactly how I would be doing it.

It sure is. If I didn't I wouldn't get to make half the crazy ideas I have. Like... we built motor mounts to put a vw 1.9l turbo diesel in a suzuki samurai. Nice little rock crawler. Anyways to make a long story short its a lot of machine time and never would have got done unless I was a machinist. Anyways... did you get a chance to look for those programs? No rush. Just excited to get stsrted.

I do have the master cam files. I will get them onto a Zip drive. Speaking of rock crawlers this was a project my father and I tackled. I machined the long travel shocks out of stainless for my senior project back in college.
