This Rem 513T was made in the early 1960's. I used it for small bore silhouette matches. I pillar bedded and floated the barrel, and yes I painted the stock.

With these old rifles it's easy to change barrels, headspace and generally customize to your liking with minimal tools.

Nice guns guys. Here's my mini boom stick. I saw a video on youtube of a guy hitting steel at 500yds with a MKII, i got jealous. I went a little crazy for a 22 but it's fun and cheap to shoot. And accurate as hell. Savage MKII TR AccuTrigger. Harris Bi Pod, Black Hawk cheek rest, Leupold Rings, Oculus 6-24x50 Mil Dot optic.
