Hi everyone...
I'm a toolmaker from Norway...
And I am on the lookout for some drawings/CAD models of a 22 cal semi auto...
I have been planning to build one for some time now, but...
Nothing to build from!!

I am mainly interested in something like a Mk2/3 or similar....

That said, the only thing that matters, is the 22 cal and semi auto requirement... lol

That is because I have no interest in a single shot, and that I have plenty of 22 cal barrels to use...

So, is there anyone that can help me???

A caution--the transfer of technology (drawings, specs, etc) out of the US can be a violation of the Dept of State ITAR laws and result in fines and jail time...

Would that really apply to something as old as those designs?

I honestly don't know--it depends if it is company proprietary or if it falls under ITAR (International Trafficing in Arms Regulation)--in my job I deal with ITAR a lot and it is broad and subject to the interpretation of the federal government (US State Department) so I just wanted to throw out that caution. What about guns from other countries? Italy, Belgium Germany etc?
For instance a Beretta, FN, SIG etc? Would those come under ITAR? Seeing as the country of origin is not the USA...

Since Ruger is still in business, I doubt they have released any CAD drawings so that aspect is moot. I would however suggest hunting for CADs for Browning's similar early .22 designs. Especially those produced at FN or other pre-WW2 factories.
