I was Googling for 1917 projects and followed your post here.
I've started a new post with my project, but it's not showing up yet. Maybe it will be up tomorrow morning and I will can add more pictures.

I had a rough gun to start out with and some heavy pitting on the barrel tip. Looking for ideas for scope mounts and what to do about my pitting.

Again great work on your Enfield and look forward to any advice you can give when my post shows up.
