I like to start with a basic Springfield Armory or Colt.
Other manufacturers seem to have something that is brand specific. Be it grip safety, hole alignment, or what ever.
Fusion Firearm frames seem to give me headache with fitting the grip safety. Para Ordnance has the Para or Clark barrel frame cut.
Those are examples I've run into. (And I'm not saying that those are bad problems, just my problems.)
