The PT 101, isn't that the 92-F clone?

I don't know the specifics of the PT 101 - but, IF it is like the Beretta models, there is a really easy aftermarket, "P" shaped replacement that takes up some of the pre-travel and reduces the trigger pull.

Pretty easy to install. Strip weapon down like normal, remove the grips and push out a pin ( if memory serves ).

Remove existing "P" shaped piece and spring, drop in replacement and reassemble.

Looks like this but obviously you need one that is geared for your model.

That one says it's compatible with the PT 99, so the 101 might need a different kit.

Sorry if I have the wrong the model. I know any good smith can tune just about any trigger for about an hour of shop time. Usually $35-$75 USD depending on the 'smith and their backlog.

Good luck.

The PT 101 is the adjustable sight version of the PT 99 in .40 S&W so a part that will work in a PT99 will work in this one...

Get the breakdown for the Beretta and you'll be close enough that you'll be able to do it. I'd suggest you put a Wolff spring kit in it and MAYBE polish the interior parts. Don't change any angles-especially on the hammer or sear.
Sometimes you earthlings REALLY amaze me!
