Default Tanfoglio Witness 45 ACP Rear Sight

Does anyone know how this sight is adjusted? I think it's a dovetail fit, so I do just tap it one way or another with something?

Pretty much tapping with some sort of nonmarring device. I gave up on my CZ. I ordered an adjustable rear sight and had a gunsmith install it.

You can use an appropriately sized brass punch to adjust the rear sight in the dovetail.

Cool...thanks guys. I'll be going to the range this weekend probably. I'll see how bad it is after using a rest.

Don't forget that moving the rear sight a very tiny amount will yield huge results in bullet impact. And remember to always move the rear sight in the direction you want the bullet to go. In other words if the gun is shooting left you want the rear sight & bullet impact to go right.
