Default Sterling Mark II 380 jams

I know these are cheap handguns but who in the Dallas/DFW can repair my sterling 380 from continued jamming? Any how too info or videos on the web?
Thanks qqslick in Texas

Have you tried different ammo and magazines?

better judged by twelve than carried by six.

Most semi autos will jam due to magazines malfunctions.

And after you spend money trying to find the correct magazine that works, you will have invested more money than what the handgun is worth.

Disassemble the magazine and stretch the mag spring. Most of the time this fixes the problem.

Check the Hi-Point forum for information on tweaking magazines.

Sterling made 'acceptable' firearms for their price.
And heck. .... they had a Life Time Warranty... (Kinda a joke since they are out of business).

I would love to hear more and a more detailed description of the 'jam'...

Are you getting a complete extraction after firing?
Sterling, like others, could get crud under the extractor arm. It is an external extractor. With crud under the arm, it will not completely hook the rimless head and properly extract.
Will the first round properly chamber from a loaded mag, when the slide is released?

If ejection completes properly (extracted and ejected), does the round jam? Do you have a picture.
