Steel finger Grooves for a steel frame guns
How the hell do you even go about this? The pictures are from a guy call TJ's Custom Works. I asked him a while back and he said he could do it to any steel frame gun (for $1200). Obviously, if I can do it myself, that'd be the preferred.

he is probably welding on a piece blending and refinishing the frame or making a completely new frame

It says he welded it on. I just have to wonder how and can I do the same.

Now, before you start, realize that improper application of high-heat to a precision-made metal frame could warp that frame. That dude probably has some weird jigs to keep everything straight while he is working on the piece.
I would prolly just try a set of those wrap-around grips or something first.

I have seen finger grooves like that attached to the magazine. Would shoot fine but how the devil would you drop the mag without dropping the gun?

tig welding is probably the way he welds it on low current low heat easy to blend that's the way I'd do it

Other than that block sticking out of the front of the slide that gun is looking pretty B.A.

The above handgun would never be purchased by me.
I don't put a finger in front of the trigger guard.
I know where my fingers go and don't need a reminder.
The comp is not blended to the slide and looks like a cheap after thought.
My hold trips such an extended slide stop.
The dust cover on the frame and the slide do not match up.
IMO, this is a pretty thing, but the work is of questionable quality. Bling does not mean the firearm will function reliably.

Meh... I don't really care much for the weapon in question, I'm just interested in the finger grooves.
