I have a Savage Model 12 BVSS 22-250 that always misfeeds the last round out of the magazine. It always wants to feed the round low and to the left of the chamber. Has anyone had a similar problem and if so, what would it take to correct this situation? This rifle has only had approximately 50 rounds thru it. I bought it from a dealer out of town as a trade in. Maybe for the same reason. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Try replacing the magazine spring & follower. I'll bet that'll take care of it. If it was the feed lips or the box itself it wouldn't wait until the last round to malfunction.

Thanks Stalkingbear, that makes perfect sense. This happens to be the only problem I've experienced with this Savage rifle. Love the accuracy and also the Accutrigger on this 22-250. Have a great day and thanks again for your help.
