Default Savage 110 Upgrades..not sure where to start.

I know this gun will be used for target shooting mostly and possibly some hunting. I dont believe I have an accutrigger installed and as of now I have a tasco 3-9x40 pronghorn scope on there. ( Was on the gun when given to me as a gift). Any suggestions help.

Thank you.

You do not Have to do anything maybe with the rifle. You should obviously shoot it and see how good it does. If you are not a very experienced shooter it is very likely that the gun is already capable of better accuracy than most shooters are. You fail to say what caliber this rifle is and when testing it you might want to test with a couple different bullet weights.

Mods are great if you apply them cautiously.

But to apply mods without knowing what needs to be changed can ruin an otherwise decent firearm.
