Hello everyone I've google searched how to remove rust from gun barrels but haven't found much. I found a rifle barrel in my fathers basement after he passed and learned it was a ceskoslovenska zbrojovka a.s. brno a 8mm Mauser. The inside looks pretty good but the outside had a lot of rust i used steel wool and got the initial rust off, it doesn't seem too pitted I was wondering a good and easy way to get the rust and blue off. I figured I would re blue it if I could get it looking halfway descent. It is just the barrel, the bolt carrier and the trigger. The stock with it is a sportster that dosnt quite fit it Ill have to work on that too. do you guys think it is worth it?
