Rust
 

Hi my mid 80' s hawkings black powder gun rust on hammer and nipple . Have tc butter on the gun the bore is perfect I use the tc butter when barrels hot.the outside of gun the tc butter seams to have dried out should I use gun oil on outside???? I hate rust

I have always used oil on the outsides of my bp guns.
