Rossi .22/.410 problems
I had a customer bring me a Rossi .22/.410 single shot with the interchangeable barrels, he had a fired shell lodged in the .22 barrel not letting it open and after a few days I finally got the shell out but now the barrels are hard to get open I'm not sure if it expanded something or the extractor is catching on something or the kick is not working right, if any of yall had any experience with this or could know what the problem is.

Tough to tell without knowing what you did to get the round out and without pics.

If both barrels are now hard to open then the problem is in the receiver. Do you mean the they open stiffly or it is hard to get them to unlatch? My guess is the problem is in the latching mechanism.

The .22 barrel opens easier than the .410, the .22 you push the kick down and the barrel pops up a tiny bit to where there's a small crack between the barrel and the face of the receiver and it takes a quick jerking motion to break it open while the .410 the kick lever doesn't even come up all the way and its a pain to open. I'm home now and ill post some pictures shortly of battles the receiver face and the shell that was stuck in it.

Compare locking area on the barrels.
With some movement in the .22 barrel and not the .410, then it is like the locking catch area of the barrels are different, though miniscule.
