Removing creep on sks trigger
I've been trying to remove the creep on my sks trigger but none of the videos tell me what grit sandpaper to use since I don't have a belt sander (guessing 1000 to 2000) and also when sanding down the sear is there a certain length it should be I don't want to do too much I have a digital caliper and render the trigger useless.

Really bad idea. What you are doing is not going to make it better, will make it unsafe. Or inoperative.
STONING a sear/trigger does not remove creep, just makes pull smoother. CRITICAL that surfaces be kept perfectly square to each other. NOT a good DIY project.

No it's definitely creep and I know they're known for slam fires but I've already put a spring loaded firing pin in which negates the possibility of a slam fire

oh wow this seems a-lot safer than shaving down a sear i didn't really want to anyway definetely buying a replacement spring

it's VERY worth it dude, took less than 30 mins to do it.....and that included spraying the entire trigger assembly down with brake cleaner to get all the grease and dirt out of it. it was extremely dirty. wish i'd taken a before and after pic.
the gun shoots tighter groups now too.

I sent mine out to a gunsmith advertising in Shotgun News (a kind of newspaper, which was words on paper, for people to buy and sell gun-related stuff back in the day) to tune the trigger. He made a pigskin (not silk) purse out of a sow's ear.

yeah, he would have done the same thing in the link above that i posted. there's a guy down in texas that still does them. he charges $55 including shipping to do it. i was going to use him, but then looked into what all it entailed and after finding out it was so easy, did it myself. plus, i didnt want to be without my trigger for a month.
