was thinking of having (kdf seguin tx) install a muzzlebreak on my pet .308 ...the remington pump barrel removal is something im not familiar with. any suggestions ,i really dont want to send the whole gun because of the scope,hassles in shipping etc...any info would be appreciated

You should send the barreled action. It would be less expensive then messing up the barrel or worse.
Then upon it's return, you have to torque the barrel down.
Let the plumber do his work. You will come out ahead.

Barrel removal is a real PITA on those. I agree, send the barreled action. Better yet, look at remington7400.com they are the 7400/7600 experts. Get an oversized charging knob at the same time.

thanks ....looked up the folks in colo. accuracy systems...they are the 7400-7600 guys...they can do the work needed ....may just have barrel threaded for flash hider /comp ....i really like the looks of the kdf brake as compared to theirs.
