rebluing gun cleaning prices

What should I charge for deep cleaning of handguns and for long guns. Brake them all down and clean everything. What about rebluing a hand gun. There is no one around me that does this so I don't know what charge for this. I don't want to be to high but don't want to cheat myself .

Charge 5 bucks less per hour, than the local independant auto repairman. Cleaning should take about 45 min. If you do it right, so your cleaning job would be 75% of your hourly rate.

Brownells puts out a list of the average rates of gunsmiths for just about any job you may do. If you are just starting out and doing the work on the side for friends etc. I would say charge half. Order one of their catalogs.
