Default problem with an extra cylinder for a conversion SA revolver

Hi all! I recently purchased a really inexpensive 22/22m SA revolver for snakes. When I got home and put the 22M cylinder in and loaded it; I noticed that the cylinder didn't spin freely as it should. Further inspection revealed that on of the chambers in the cylinder was not as counter sunk as the others were so that shell stuck further and rubbed the back of the frame. How can I fix this problem without having to send the revolver back?

Thanks,

Send it back. The manufacturer should be made aware of a deficiency in their QC.

Get her dirty, then clean her so she starts to respect you. When her trust is complete, she will serve you well for a lifetime!

Did you buy it new or used? If used, someone may have loaded 22lr in the magnum cylinder.

I could send it back but they state it could take up to 3 months to get it back. Was thinking that if I could file it down or have a machine shop match the others by reaming out the top by about a millimeter.

If it is a single action, and no safety bar, could you use that chamber to rest the hammer on? In other words, be like the old timers and load 5 instead of 6 in the old six shooter?
Your post had "that on of the chambers", and I did not read that as "that one of the chambers", sorry.
