need help restoring my grandpa's old gun
In my basement i recently found an old rifle that my grandpa had given me years ago. As it was probably one of his very first guns as a child, i expect that it has a lot of sentimental value to him. The problem is, he gave to to me because he had lost most of the parts, so it doesn't work. I'd like to suprise him by restoring the the gun for him, but knowing how to shoot and reload is the extent of my firearm know-how. I have pictures of the gun so if anyone would be interested in taking a look and helping me, it would be greatly appreciated.

On the barrel it says "Page-Lewis Arms Company. Chicopee Falls, Mass U.S.A 22 L.R. Model D."

Then farther back on the barrel it has the word "Reliance"

Any help would be great. Thanks

Several people here would love to see the weapon and help point you in the right direction. Please get some pictures up and we will see what the good members here can come up with.

The new members have a delay when they post pictures until their first few posts are up, it's a SPAM deal. In any event, when you upload them, send me a PM and I will get them approved as soon as I can.

Looks like Gunparts has some parts for it:

Boys rifle, 1920's, seems to carry a fair market value for the style. You sure
grandpa "lost" the parts? Maybe he just didn't want to give an operational gun to a
young lad, and the parts are in a tobacco tin somewhere.
