Default need help with remington 552 speed master

Im currently had a guy bring in a remington 552 speedmaster, saying that it would eject the rounds once fired. He could not figure out what was wrong with it.

Before I took it apart I put about 3 rounds in the magazine and racked it back it loaded the first one but would not eject it, but tilted it would slide the round back but still not kick it out, so I took it apart cleaned the 50 yrs of gunk off of it and tried it again still say thing then i started looking harder and it didnt have an extractor spring or the seat, so I ordered them off of midway and brownells and I've got them out now and I took the bolt out and took the firing pin out to knock the extractor arm pin out to put the spring in but Ive run into a little problem because the spring and the pin do not have any thing to hold it in from the other side and I looked at the bible on it again and its not showing anything that im missing on it. So now I'm stumped on it and was wondering if anyone out there has ever worked on one and can give me a little bit of knowledge on it because I'm lost now. Any help would be greatly appreciated guys.

Thank you,
Deuce

Yes it is and thats the same blueprint I have but I still dont know how it goes in because on the back side of the bolt it doesnt have any thing to hold it in and thats whats got me stumped on it.

There should be an extractor spring seat (#26) that goes in before the spring. (kinda weird)

Yes thats right, and I have the seat, but you place it in one side of the spring and put it in the bolt under the extractor arm, I may have it wrong but its not staying in it keeps falling out, and thats whats got me Ive looked at the blueprint over and over and I'm sure I'm not missing a part on the bolt.

Count the bolt parts on the schematic and compare. Have you tried putting the spring seat in different ways? Maybe its worn out. I would assume it should basically be a taper fit.

Ok,

Ive figured out why it isn't going in right, the back rib on the bolt that holds it all in has been sheared off so now I need to order the bolt, Ive looked at brownelles and midway and all that they sale is the complete bolt and all that I need is the bare bolt and was wondering if any of yall would have a source that I could use to get one.

Thank yall
Deuce

All else fails, you COULD try Remington. The rifle is still in production.
