Default need help

I have a gorgeous Remington 48 sc 12 gauge. It's not ejecting the empty shells. It pulls up a new shell but still, the empty isn't being grabbed out. Is this a common problem with this gun? Or even the 11-48?

Not that common of a problem but an Extractor can go bad on any gun. Especially if it is used regularly. Check to see if it is broken, chipped or maybe a weak spring problem. *******Could just have brass or debris underneath it causing it to malfunction?******* and just need cleaned! Brass and debris will cause it not to close around he shell casing enough to extract the spent shell.
But regardless not a major repair issue.
