I am going to get a mossberg tactical .22 soon and i was wondering if it would be possible to have a gunsmith cut/ grind off the carry handle and mount a weaver rail flush to the top of the gun. Below is a pic of the gun and the 2nd pic is how i want it to look like except i also want to remove the front sight.

You actually can't because its just a shell that's divided in two pieces and the actual gun is inside. I have one and I had the same problem I had a eotech scope and it works perfect on the cart handle
