I took out the hammer and hammer rod and spring. no problem there, but I think I have to take out the disconect and side rod to get to the sear.I am not sure if I can remove the sear with out removing both the DC and the rod on the left side. I have not seen the spring being broken, but the sear only moves is gravity or if you put a small screwdriver and move it. no resistance to pushing it into the release posistion. It has to be a bad spring.
