Default Model 100 Carbine

I recently aquired a Model 100 Carbine in 308. It's a nice little rifle, but it's missing the barrel band. Seems someone removed the factory sling swivels and replaced them with the modern type knob ones and in the process also did away with the barrel band. If anyone knows where I might find one I would appreciate it, everywhere I found online doesn't have any and I can't seem to find anyone who makes them aftermarket. I sure hope someone out there has one.

I don't have 1 but I'll check around with my sources for it. If I find 1 I'll let you know.

I don't know where to find you barrel band, but thought you should check to make sure that your rifle has been repaired under the recall they did some years ago. There was a problem with the firing pin possibly breaking and causing AD's.
