Mini 14 Hogue Stock fitment issues

Does anyone else have experience getting a Hogue Stock onto a Mini-14? It wasn't real co-operative, but it's on now. Unfortunately the front of the bolt assembly rubs on the stock a bit, slowing down it's return. Is it normal to need to trim the stock back a bit on the right side to clear the bolt assembly?

Yes, they usually need some trimming. Or, if you have a Dremel you can use the sanding drum and grind away until the fit is right. The Hogue stocks are very good once you get the fit squared away.
