Just a general opinion question... I have this really nice 1914 Mauser Pocket Pistol I'm bringing back to life, matching numbers, good bore, no pitting, etc., but the grip screw threads in the frame are stripped clean. Do I tap the holes for the next size up, or fill, re-drill and re-tap the holes? I don't have the original grip screws, so I could go either way.
What do you all think?

You should be able to drill them slightly bigger and press fit some bushings in so you can still use the original screws and grips which you might be able to get from numrich. Love to see some pics btw.

helacoil inserts quick and easy . could be removed, the holes filled drilled and tapped in the future if needed
