I purchased this M-1 from a friend that had deer hunted with it. He had a gunsmith mount a scope on it, an operation that entailed removing the rear sight. Now I, he nor anyone else here can figure out how to get the sight apart so I can re-install it on the gun. It's probably very simple, yet I simply can't do it. Any help will be appreciated. There are some pics below, maybe they'll help.
