Default JH knecht rifle?

I just picked up a .270 built on a K98 Mauser action and the barrel is stamped JH knecht Los Altos .270 Win.
I can't find any info on this guy. Has anyone heard of him or his company?
It is a real sweet looking rifle and has some real quality work done to it.
Any help ?

I have not heard of him, but I would like to see a couple of pics. I'm trying to get ideas on what to do with an abused Mauser in .308. Thanks.

You can open Internet explorer and have 2 "tabs" open. One on the forum, and the second on Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket

create an account on photobucket (no problems with viruses, so don't worry).
upload a photo to your account.
once uploaded, save it.
once it is saved, move your mouse over the picture. it will give you info. move down to the "direct link" and highlight the info in that line. then copy that info to the "clipboard" of windows. (leave photobucket open on the second tab).

Now go to the first tab (still should be on the FTF), reply to this tread.
the icons will have a place to "Insert Image", click on it and paste your clipboard.
save the reply.

It is a lot easier that explained. Good luck.
