Two Jewells offered, one for bench without a safety 1.5 to about 3 oz. pull. One w/ safety, 1.5 oz. to 3.5 lb. pull.

Midway says "Gunsmith installation" --

It's not a "drop in." The sear engagement needs to be set up. What's that all about? I can set up valve clearances, read a caliper, and run a machine lathe or milling machine. Can I install one of these triggers?

Aurora Tactical did a fine job on my Savage 110fp with stock parts. Sear work is something I would never recomend for the novice DIYer, and I've only done my own on my 10/22's. You can screw things up real bad if you do it wrong. I do recomend a gunsmith installation for this.

Anything remington 700 is drop in. My timney said gunsmith only and then had direction on how to put it in.

It is very simple two pins and swap them out. really.

If you are going to carry this rifle in the field at all even down range get the 1.5oz to 3.5# with safety.

1.5oz triggers are crazy light I like mine at about 8 to 10oz.

Put a Jewell in my 700 Remmy in about 5 minuets. Kit came with 3 springs and easy to change for pull weight ranges. Used lighter spring and set pull to 4 oz.'s.

I like about 2 oz for the bench, but definitely want some "lock up" and about 3 lbs if it's loaded and I'm moving it.
