Default HK91 in .338 Federal?
Would it be possible to rechamber an HK91 to .338 Federal?

(Why ask why? My dad would have said "About as practical as t*ts on a boar hog," but wouldn't it be cool? Just the thing for when you're being assaulted by a platoon of bears...)

Default HK-91 in 338 fed
I am not an engineer but the 338 federal likely has more recoil than a .308. With the HK/CETME system being recoil operated it might cause some problems. Bolt face thrust might cause the action to unlock prematurely.

Oh, well. Guess I'll just have to settle for a good bolt-action. Does anybody besides Sako make them in that chambering yet?
