Does anyone know where I can find a sight set for a Henry 22 lever action Model H001. Truglo doesn't have them. I would like to get something in fiber optic or at least something I can see. The sights that come on here are for young folks eyes.
It's a great shooting gun, but I just can't see what I'm shooting at.
I thought about drilling it for a scope but that would take all the fun out of shooting crows.

I bought a Mares leg 22 & told them it needed a taller front site & i wish it came with a regualar lever instead of the Cowboy big loop-

I am a big fan of peep sights. Skinner makes the best setup I've used. A little pricey, but well made and very effective.

Thanks for your input, I'm going to follow up on them today. I really like the lever action Henry and it was new in box for $250.00. And that was retail, so the store made a profit too. Well...I'm off to get some crows this morning. I've been feeding them for a couple of weeks now, so they should be fat. Fat crows make good targets. I'll use my 220 Swift until I get some sights for my Henry.
I gotta go...I'm getting all excited...I love shooting crows.

Thanks a million, I'm going to the smith tomorrow and get the sights ready to ship to Skinner. I like the black and gold front and rear. I would like to fill in the Henry stamping on the rifle with 22 karat gold to match the sights if I can. That would be sorta like a memorial for the deceased crows.

I would order the parts from Skinner and have a smith install them. They have to drift out the old and drift in the new. If this is done incorrectly, you will not be happy. Andy is the owner of Skinner Sights. Very cool guy. If you have questions, send him email. He will respond pretty quick.

The Skinner sights look nice. The barrel mounted ones are to far from the shooter's eye to be very effective. The receiver mounted ones should be great. You could always get a tang sight put on your Henry.
