I just bought a New England Pardner single shot 410 the action has alot of grease in it and I was wondering if it matters what pin is best to take out first and if I need to watch for springs that might fly out thanks for any help

Rather than detail stripping a gun you are not familiar with (and yes, LITTLE springs and pieces parts tend to go SPROING!) suggest you get a spray can of GUNSCRUBBER- better sporting goods stores and Wally Worlds everywhere. Take outside, remove forearm, spray down really good, let drip. Lightly lube when dry, replace forearm. Isn't that better than trying to find that spring that went somewhere in the next room? (this from a guy that keeps a large magnet to find the itty bitty piece that hit the floor somewhere)
