Default Is A Glock .22 Conversion Kit A Good Idea?

Iím thinking of getting a .22 conversion kit for a Glock 30 but Iím not sure if itís a good idea and hereís why. Over time with use, the original factory slide has mated with the receivers slide rails so that the original slide and the receivers slide rails function smoothly together. With a conversion kit a third factor is introduced into the equation. Now another slide is running on the receivers rails for who knows how many rounds, creating a new surface on the receivers slide rails. Eventually the original slide is reinstalled, only now the receivers slide rails have been ďreconfiguredĒ by the conversion kits slide. Will this, in any way affect the functionality of the pistol, such as accuracy, dependability, etc?
