That don't help the original poster at all-he's trying to get his REMINGTON to shoot. He's been given good advise on barrels.

Not knocking you Shrek,but there are other brands out there that shoot as good or better. THB

Hart and Shilen offer stock match barrels with Brownell's and others. Make sure you get the twist you want for the bullet you will shoot. Most 30 BR rifles are using 14 to 18 twist barrels.
Figure yardage and bullet you want to shoot, and ask the barrel maker.

Sometimes you find some oddball stuff.

I've never seen a bullbarrel 30-06, some heavy sport barrels but no BB. I'm interested because the '06 is the rifle I grew up with. Sounds like a fun project. Make sure you post some pics.
