Front sight on my ak47

I spent about an hour trying to sight my ak at the range. I adjusted the front and rear sights and finally mad it hit the paper 12 inches up and 8 inches right at 30 yards. I noticed my front sight was not straight, is there any good fixes for this problem with out adding optics? Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

What's not straight the post or the blade

Damage can also be easily done if you do not have a tool to adjust them. They are not expensive! The one that does both elevation and windage is about $15. And once you get it set you could probably sell it to a buddy if you do not want to keep it.

Fullauto it's the actual post, looks like it was put on leaning to one side.

Sniper, I have the front sight tool already and I love my ak and would hate to get rid of it. I was hoping that there was other options like a replacement front sight like all the options on my ar.

Is it screwed on wrong or is it actually bent?

Is this one of the WASR10's that people complain about?

I've never seen one with the "canted" front sight, but stories are common. IIRC, youtube has some vids of people fixing their fronts from this problem.

http://youtu.be/lz-f5SBqjX0 there are several vids about it

Tell us how YOU fixed it, when you get a chance.
