Firing pin stop

Where the firing pin stop meets the slide, there's a "bump" when it slides past the hammer. Is this normal? Should I smooth it out? It's a Dan Wesson Guardian in 9mm.

Here are some better photos. Still not great. It looks like the stop is too short.

It's tough to tell exactly what you're trying to show. If you have some dykem put it on the part and cycle it again you should be able to tell exactly where its hitting. If you don't have any just blackened it over a candle or something.

Here are some more. I think it's normal but not sure.
Right where the stop meets the slide is a lip. I can push the stop down where it even but the hammer pushes it back up.

Progolfer, you should be fine, normally it's the other way around, with the stop hanging down.
