Ejector problem
 

Have a Remington 788 in .223 that won't flip the spent case out. The extractor seems to be ok as it pulls the case out of the chamber, but the case then hits the side of the chamber and lays there rather than ejecting. I have to dump the shell out before I can feed the next one in. Has anyone had this problem and figured out how to fix it?

it sounds like a problem with the ejector springs. hopefully gummed up, but are known to go bad. Try this article for info.
