Difference in LPK

My LGS has two parts kits in stock. DPMS for 69.99 and Spikes Tactical for 99.99 (not enhanced). Is the Spikes any better than the DPMS? If its better I can justify the extra $30.

Not worth the money. That's a good price for a lpk right now though. I'd buy them all and put them up on GB.

So you would go with the DPMS? I was leaning towards the Spikes because it claims it is Mil-spec (or better?) but DPMS makes no such claim. I wanna make sure I put the best parts I can find into my build.

The dpms kits work fine. You can spend the extra on the spikes if you want. My question is what exactly is a mil-spec hammer spring???
