Default dept. of justice certified mail

has anyone every gotten certified mail from the dept. of justice? If so, what about? I understand the ATF is under the DOJ, and the wait until the trip to the post office is worrisome.

Just like the Coast Guard, first under Treasury, then Transportation and then DHS

What they said.

In January of 2003, ATF’s functions and responsibilities were transferred to the Department of Justice. This split the missions and functions of ATF into two agencies: The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) transferred to the U.S. Department of Justice, and the Alcohol and Tobacco Tax and Trade Bureau (TTB) remained with the U.S. Department of Treasury.

okay, it was a notice on documentation for multiple gun sales. I think everybody in the border states got one.
Thank god, I thought I was getting investigated for something!

Was this for new regs that just came out, or just a reminder of what is currently on the books? (Multiple handgun sales.)
