Default Current need for Gunsmiths

Am interested in learning how to be a gunsmith. What is the current need for gunsmiths. Also what are the best schools for it.

If you search for gunsmith school on this sight you will find it has been covered many times.

I'd rather my own son see me die on my feet as a free man, than watch him go, broken, into slavery.

Yeah there is a thread going on schools right now.

As far as need... I've never met a rich gunsmith, but I've never met a starving one either. It seems that most have a day job, and do smithing as a hobby until they build up the clientele to make it a living.

I firmly believe that any man's finest hour, the greatest fulfillement of all that he holds dear, is that moment when he has worked his heart out in a good cause, and lies exhausted on the field of battle... Victorious.

Every normal man must be tempted, at times, to spit on his hands, hoist the black flag, and begin slitting throats.
