That's definitely a thought. Once I have everything reblued and polished up I'll consider that option if I have to replace it. I'm thinking cleaning and polishing it up might be enough to get it functioning.

Update:
The trigger spring finally came in today and surprise,surprise its the wrong one. Apparently this is a large frame model,too bad the springs for it aren't available. So I took a piece of tool steel and made a shim to keep the spring in place. Extra hour of work but the gun is back together and functions flawlessly. My buddy was so happy he gave me a gift. Wish I got payed for everything like this.
