Default Building my first AR

Looking to Build my First AR and I want to do it in either .458 SOCOM or .50 Beowolf. Any suggestions?

What's your primary use for it and will you be reloading the ammo or buying it retail?

May want to use it for hog hunting. But main use is that I want a heavier hitting weapon. As for reloading, that is something I would like to get into, but initially I will be buying the ammo (but saving the brass).

From my understanding the .50 would suit your needs fine and since you will be buying the ammo it's cheaper then the .458 rounds. The 50 is more of the slug kind of round where the 458 is more of a bigger precision round. Now getting into reloading the .458 offers a wider variety of projectiles than the .50 from what I have read on it. I don't reload so I can't say for sure I'm just going off of what I've read.
